We would like to take a moment to introduce and familiarize you with our salon policies. At Hydra Bar, we strive to provide the highest level of service and maintain a pleasant and safe environment for everyone. These policies are in place to ensure that every client has a positive and enjoyable experience during their visit. We kindly request your cooperation in adhering to these guidelines.
BEFORE APPOINTMENT
- Deposits are required to secure all appointment.
- Payment of the deposit is required the same day the appointment is made.
- Each appointment a client schedules, deposits must be paid the day it is scheduled.
- Failure to do this, appointments will be cancelled the following day.
- Clients must cancel or reschedule appointments at least 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations result in a loss of deposit which is 30% service cost.
- All previous styles must be taken down before your appointment; no exceptions. If not, service may be denied.
DATE OF APPOINTMENT
- Clients can help themselves to the complimentary snack bar and drinks, requesting assistance as needed.
- Large/extra bags not permitted
- Laptops permitted. Free Wi-Fi is available.
- Large meals/food containers are not permitted; only small snacks provided by the salon or small snacks of your own. Water bottle/ container allowed.
- Keep your belongings with you at all times.
- Being 15 minutes late incurs a $35 late fee.
- When over 15 minutes late, your appointment could be canceled and the deposit will be kept. In the event we are still able to service you, you will be charged a $35 late fee. If you decide to cancel, you will be charged a no-show fee which is 50% of your service. Unpaid late fees will prevent you from scheduling future appointments.
- The salon reserves the right to deny service to sick clients.
- Loud phone conversations are not permitted. You may step outside to talk.
- No extra guests are allowed to wait in the salon
- Tangled hair incurs a $35 upcharge per half hour. Services can be denied if time-consuming.
- Clients with appointments scheduled for 8:30 am will not be permitted before 8:30 am.
- If more than 15 minutes early, you may be asked to wait in your car until service time. This is due to limited seating and to ensure a smooth flow of appointments.
- Recording your appointment is not permitted. Before and after photos are allowed.
- To book future appointments during your service, please text 754-215-6333.Include your first and last name, name of service(s), and 3 possible dates.
COLOR SERVICES
- No color services are provided during first-time appointments (Consultation & Initial Hydra Set)
- Major color changes will not be done until after your 3rd appointment. Color consultation required.
- Basic root touch ups are permitted after Initial Hydration service. A patch test must be done and a color waiver must be signed prior to the day of service.
CHILDREN
- Kids being serviced under the age of 7 must be accompanied by an adult. Do not drop off your children for service. Please be mindful of your child’s noise level and behavior during their service.
- Children ages 7 and up, please speak to your stylist before you leave the salon if dropping them off.
- If a child cannot sit still for the service, it could be discontinued with a charge of 50% of the service.
