Rhonda, fondly known as Curly Rhonda on YouTube, is the visionary behind Hydra Bar Salon and the innovative Hydration Techniques that are transforming curly hair care. Born in North Carolina, trained in California, and now thriving in Florida, Rhonda has a passion for working with all textures of curly hair. Hydra Bar Salon, founded on December 3, 2013, was born from Rhonda’s personal journey with her own hair.
After experiencing frustration at various salons that couldn’t handle her “difficult” hair, Rhonda took matters into her own hands and discovered the true potential of her natural curls. She mastered the art of hydrating and defining kinky textures, turning them into beautiful, manageable curls.
This breakthrough led her to open Hydra Bar Salon, where she shares her expertise and helps clients embrace their unique curly textures. With a dedication to moisture and hydration, Rhonda’s techniques have become a game-changer in the world of curly hair care, making Hydra Bar a go-to destination for curly hair enthusiasts.
